Alternatively, these contemporary, light shades can be applied delicately for a soft, light wash, or used with Derwent's Inktense paint sets to create dramatic effects.

The History of Derwent goes back to 1916 in Keswick, England, when it was known as The Cumberland Pencil Company. But the tradition of pencil making in the area goes back to 1832.
